Whilton Mill February Special Race Report – KMS Race Team Deliver Another Strong Performance

The Whilton Mill February Special provided another exciting weekend of racing for the KMS Race Team, with Myles Burton and Braith Murdock showcasing their speed and determination in the Junior Rotax category. The fast and technical Whilton Mill circuit once again tested the drivers, but both showed great pace throughout the event.

Myles Burton – Strong Recovery Drive

Myles put in an impressive effort during the heats, securing a top 8 qualifying position for the final. Unfortunately, his race was compromised early on after being hit from behind on the first lap, dropping him down the order. Despite this setback, he fought back well, making his way to the midfield by the end of the race. While not the result he had hoped for, it was still a solid performance that demonstrated his resilience and racecraft.

Braith Murdock – Competitive All Weekend

Braith was on form from the start of the weekend, consistently running at the sharp end of the field. Like Myles, he also qualified inside the top 8 for the final, setting himself up for a strong result. Unfortunately, a small mistake in the final cost him a few places, dropping him down the order. Despite this, his pace was undeniable, and it was another solid performance that highlighted his potential.

Looking Ahead

With both Myles and Braith showing competitive pace at Whilton Mill, the KMS Race Team continues to build momentum for the season. The team will take the positives from this event and prepare for the upcoming rounds, aiming for even stronger results.
